Where have I been? (updates)

Unfortunately, I disappeared off the face of the planet a little! (or at least, off the face of DeviantArt)
Truthfully, I always feel a little awkward updating my journal when I don't have actual content to be updating with, but I can say cosplay content will be finally coming very very soon!
It's been over a year since I first started my Link cosplay (time never stops flying), and as improvements are always necessary, it's been getting quite an overhaul!
Those who already follow my Facebook page have probably already seen the tunic and hat are all new, but that's only the beginning of what's to come! The arm guard's sleeves have been DYING to stop being felt, and a different color, and while this still isn't 100% ideal, it's definitely an improvement: www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbi…
The belts must be completely redone with a new fabric and bigger buckles to allow for more width; no progress photos on that yet, but hopefully soon! More is going to be reworked, but I'll leave the rest as a surprise ^_^

Hurricon holds special memories for me, so I really hope to be able to impress the judges with as many improvements to my costume as possible, and to FINALLY do some cosplay photography!
As to where else I've been, I'm mostly residing in the YouTube corner of the internet, slowly but surely working on song covers and dubbing! This is my latest role: youtu.be/z83sE9i9vtE I spent over 80 hours working on that episode's sfx and I can safely say I never want to do that again! :'D
I've also been fighting germs! Hooray!
This year started out rough for me and has still been rough around the edges but I hope everyone else has been doing better than I, and is progressing in life at the pace they desire ^_^
I've been totally out of the deviantart loop in general, so for those of you who still watch me, tell me what's up in your life!

I don't know why or how, but to whoever so graciously and generously gifted me a premium membership, I EXTEND THE GREATEST OF THANKS TO YOU 
seriously, that was a huge surprise to wake up to! I really wish whoever did it didn't do it anonymously though, because I feel absolutely terrible not being able to thank them properly or able to dedicate any possible thing in return!
I apologize again to all of my watchers and buddies on here for having been so deathly inactive. I unfortunately have no cosplay updates to report, due to lack of time and focusing on other stuffs.
Also, the flu happened on New Years Eve, that wasn't fun
I can say though that there will likely be some photography happening in March though, so I hope that I can at least put that on the table!
Speaking of bringing things to the table, I am doing my best to keep my youtube channel active, and was just today able to upload something that was due December! www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBGmyh… I hope that all of you who are living in places that actually get winter weather, will especially enjoy this one ^_^
I hope that everyone is doing well and is getting closer to where they want to be in life; it's still the only beginning of a new year, so we should all do our best to make the most of it!

I've missed speaking with you all very much; I still lurk from time to time, but I have been busier than usual in the online and offline realms D:
A lot has went on, including things ranging from birthdays, dententistry, photoshoots, friends visiting, dramas, and fandubs!

As of the 23rd, I just completed, or rather did a re-do of the Biltmore photoshoot; Phoenix525 is back in town for a little while, and I was able to rope him into it since we didn't have time to do one before/after Mizucon. So yay! ^_^

The photos will be slowly posted up throughout the week as usual!

why do I keep forgetting to update this T_T
Hello everyone! How have you all been? It's been so long since we've spoken on a personal level!
I can't believe May passed by so quickly and we're already almost done with June. It's scary, honestly..
Things have been up and down with me (as always, really) I've had lots of fun with family and friends, some from out of town who came to stay and visit for a bit, I've had lots of delicious sickly germy goodness (NOT ANYMORE THANK GOODNESS), lots of delicious family drama (someone make it end plz) and some, but generally little work in the voicing department. (did I ever mention this thing? youtu.be/QWm9XEJK7z0 )
My friend and I have entered ourselves in a singing competition which took some sweat and tears due to multitudes of reasons, but we got it submitted on time! Sad part is results won't be announced til like the 25th, but 25% of the entries will pass to the next round, and I believe there was 150 entries? so I'm a little hopeful we'll get through!
Our song of choice was Okkusenman as we felt the story of it fit the theme of the contest, which was actually a poem (NO ONE'S BODY WAS READY FOR THAT) youtu.be/8ntMEPQfjxA If you think we did a good job please give the video a like or something and I WILL BE FOREVER THANKFUL

I appreciate so much that I've received so much support and love this past year. I really don't know where I would have been in life in general without that extra boost, but I can tell you it'd be somewhere not as good as right now!
I truly hope to be seeing some of you at Florida Supercon, so I can atleast express my thankfulness and love with huggles and hanging out with some of you! I'll be there all 4 days, though probably out of costume on either Sunday or Monday, haven't decided which day I'll relax yet XD
(anyone else think FSC event list sucks this year? because I do!)
If you see me, feel free to say hi! I'm feeling all around less nervous in general about this convention, WHICH IS A TOTAL FIRST, so I'm hoping to be bringing lots of smiles to everyone around!
In other sort of non-convention news, I've been taking ballroom dance lessons, which while are an hour away from me every Sunday morning, they are so much fun and so worth it! I'll be using them to participate in the Masquerade at Mizucon in August! AND I WILL BE COSPLAYING AS A FEMALE CHARACTER WHO WEARS A DRESS WITH NO SLEEVES SO I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HEAT, OMG SUCH A FIRST FOR ME *dances*
Hopefully I'll be able to work on that throughout the summer, because the costume is a bit intricate and will be a challenge, BUT STILL SO EXCITED SDFKHSKDJFH
I guess that's all from me for now!
I'm really sorry for my inactiveness in general on DA, it's been really hot and gross here weather wise, so in terms of photography or anything of the sort, that has come to a total halt D: And in general I haven't had as much time to lurk websites, but hopefully the time to relax will be soon!
