AWESOME

I was sooo nervous though omg, from when I first woke up I was all right..eat my breakfast okay..start putting on the costume and "Oh man I'm not sure about this, I mean I'm gonna look so short compared to everyone else and my wig might look weird and what if I make a stupid face oh gosh oh gosh" this thought process continued throughout the day; only seemingly disappearing when I was able to talk with others.
However, I am naturally bad at chance encounter type situations, so I apologize if I seemed nervous ;-;
Oh yeah, during the car ride I remembered "Ohhh riiight I forgot to bring the caaameraaa.." The drive is approximately 2 hours so of course we weren't going to turn back but GOSH DARN I WISH I HAD BROUGHT IT XD
Once we actually arrived at the fair and were able to sit down and relax for a bit, things got better; I bought a new sword and sheath which is nice and gigantic while still being easy to carry; I'd stay it's a nice upgrade from my plastic one! I will likely be painting the sheath later ^_^
Theeen came the rounding up for the contest.
We had to wait outside of a tent in the heated sun; and I mean it was HEEEATED. And there were sooo many people entering (I'd say around 60-70) so there was muuuch waiting to be done so everyone could have their turn on stage.
Thank you so much Dad for being there with me and waiting with me and all around keeping me company; I wouldn't have survived without you D:
The same goes to everyone else who spoke with me; you're all such a fantastic group and I wish I had each and every one of your names so I could speak of you in a more formal fashion!
When I finally got on that stage..
So many cheered..
Some screamed, and that was loud..
BUT IT WAS SO EXHILARATING AND EXCITING!! www.youtube.com/watch?feature=… you person for uploading that video xD )
AUDIENCE! Thank you so much for your support! You have no idea how much it means to me and it was suuuch a confidence booster being up on that stage that day!
Judges: I can't thank you enough for giving me some spotlight and the award. I am so sorry I did not hunt you all down after the contest and hug you and thank you in person, but it was truly a huuuge honor to have been up on that stage. Also, thank you for singing part of the Zelda theme! That was such a nice gesture omg ^_^
Cosplayers who talked with me: Every single one of you. YOU ARE ALL AMAZING AND WONDERFUL PEOPLE! I wanted to hug everyone I met, seriously! I was just far too nervous to have asked and didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable, but seriously I wish everyone would have gotten an award for the sheer amount of love and friendliness everyone was showing!
Miss Gwendolynne, thank you for taking some photos of me and for using one in an article ( clikhear.palmbeachpost.com/201… ); I truly apologize for not being more photogenic haha, I am sooooooo immensely bad at on the spot photos or thinking of things to say. None the less, I was so happy and flattered you wanted me to be involved!
After the contest business was said and done and over, all of my nervousness and anxiety instantly stopped; and tons of other people wanted to have pictures taken with me, and that was tons of fun! Thank you everyone who even just wanted to say hi! ^_^
It was a very enjoyable day all together, just to walk around with my family in a gorgeous setting, even if it was quite hot, we enjoyed ourselves very much.
Thank you, Morikami, for hosting a wonderful festival.
Love,
Jacqueline

Where have I been? (updates)
Unfortunately, I disappeared off the face of the planet a little! (or at least, off the face of DeviantArt)
Truthfully, I always feel a little awkward updating my journal when I don't have actual content to be updating with, but I can say cosplay content will be finally coming very very soon!
It's been over a year since I first started my Link cosplay (time never stops flying), and as improvements are always necessary, it's been getting quite an overhaul!
Those who already follow my Facebook page have probably already seen the tunic and hat are all new, but that's only the beginning of what's to come! The arm guard's sleeves have been DYI
THANK YOU and UPDATES!
I don't know why or how, but to whoever so graciously and generously gifted me a premium membership, I EXTEND THE GREATEST OF THANKS TO YOU :cuddle:
seriously, that was a huge surprise to wake up to! I really wish whoever did it didn't do it anonymously though, because I feel absolutely terrible not being able to thank them properly or able to dedicate any possible thing in return!
I apologize again to all of my watchers and buddies on here for having been so deathly inactive. I unfortunately have no cosplay updates to report, due to lack of time and focusing on other stuffs.
Also, the flu happened on New Years Eve, that wasn't fun
I can
Haven't done this in awhile!
Hello, DeviantArt peeps!
I've missed speaking with you all very much; I still lurk from time to time, but I have been busier than usual in the online and offline realms D:
A lot has went on, including things ranging from birthdays, dententistry, photoshoots, friends visiting, dramas, and fandubs!
Latest Fandub work, [The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya] http://youtu.be/ONjgewc2Qrc
Part 2 coming November! Please give a Like if you enjoyed all the hardwork that the team put into it!
As of the 23rd, I just completed, or rather did a re-do of the Biltmore photoshoot; Phoenix525 (https://www.deviantart.com/phoenix525) is back in town for a little while, and I was able to
Sort of not dead! =D
why do I keep forgetting to update this T_T
Hello everyone! How have you all been? It's been so long since we've spoken on a personal level!
I can't believe May passed by so quickly and we're already almost done with June. It's scary, honestly..
Things have been up and down with me (as always, really) I've had lots of fun with family and friends, some from out of town who came to stay and visit for a bit, I've had lots of delicious sickly germy goodness (NOT ANYMORE THANK GOODNESS), lots of delicious family drama (someone make it end plz) and some, but generally little work in the voicing department. (did I ever mention this thing? http://
